Each year the Robbinsdale Alano Society holds an annual banquet to honor members who have reached one year of continuous sobriety. Honorees are recognized by name in front of the club, along with the sponsors, family, and friends who supported them through the year. The event gives the milestone the public acknowledgment it deserves and shows newer members that a year of sobriety is achievable.

The evening includes a speaker meeting and a dinner. The speaker shares their experience, strength, and hope with the group, followed by a meal that gives members time to visit and catch up with people they may only see briefly at meetings. It's a straightforward night: recognize the milestone, hear a good talk, and eat together.
